The need to address community concerns started with overwhelming calamities which hit the district of Kasese. These calamities came in a magnitude which were too much for just one organization to handle. The recurrent and perennial floods have left many people homeless and the civil strife which left close to 200 people dead leaving behind many orphans and widows. Those two major incidents and many others were reason enough for us to establish a foundation that would address the needs of these vulnerable people. Without this foundation, education was going to take a back seat in the lives of vulnerable children and the level of vulnerability at house hold level was bound to reach heights.
